From an
early age, Kort Jackson has dealt with adversity through health
issues. Faced with profound hearing loss in one ear (due to medical
error) since the age of 2, he learned a early life lesson to persevere
and learn quickly. At his high school alma mater, KJ competed with the Academic Decathlon team for
three years, prior to graduating
in 2006. Shortly thereafter, Kort began his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), finishing with a BA in History in 2012. He then later went on to complete his MA in Political Science in 2015 and a MEd. in Educational Leadership (Higher Education Administration) in 2017. He will return to UTSA in the Fall of 2019 to pursue a PhD in Educational Leadership (Higher Education Administration) Professionally, Kort is a adjunct instructor at a local community college, teaching federal and state politics. On his own time, he enjoys studying parliamentary elections and using qualitative analysis to make predictions about elections. Looking for a "FAQ"?: Try here. |
